Support through the appointment
- Review the opportunity.
Check the sample patient reference, location, time, support plan, scheduled hours, and estimated earnings.
- Accept within your capabilities.
Confirm availability and the non-medical scope. Accepting this demo assignment does not verify credentials or eligibility.
- Check in and confirm the plan.
Confirm the meeting point, patient reference with the care team, and permission for the planned support. The demo does not use GPS.
- Support the visit.
Help with check-in, wayfinding, and companionship within the plan. Ask the coordinator for help if the situation changes.
- Close with a clear handoff.
Confirm the designated receiving person is ready, that the handoff is complete, and that no support concern remains open.
How does a clinic request companion support?
In the healthcare workspace, request a ride and add companion hours. After a provider quote containing companion support is approved, a linked opportunity appears here. A companion must still accept it. Ride-price approval does not assign a companion automatically.
What does the estimate include?
Standalone sample visits use $25 per scheduled hour and an illustrative 8% fee. Linked visits use the companion-support line and fee percentage in the approved quote; that amount is allocated from the quote, not added again.
Are the workspaces separate user accounts?
No. The workspace selector is a demonstration control. All data is fictional and held in this browser session. Real accounts, authorization, credential review, communications, and payments are not enabled.

A sample rate card to discuss with provider partners.
In the proposed workflow, AccessRide and the provider agree on a versioned rate card before using it for quotes. These controls only change this demo. Existing submitted quotes keep their original prices.
From request to approved quote
- A patient or clinic requests a ride.
They provide pickup, destination, appointment and pickup times, trip type, mobility needs, waiting, stops, and who will approve the price.
- The provider checks the request.
Confirm vehicle capability, availability, route distance, return timing, and any missing details before submitting.
- Agreed rates calculate the quote.
Base charges + loaded mileage + selected services + documented adjustment + parking / tolls. The provider can see the platform fee and net earnings.
- The provider submits the price.
Use the calculated price or enter an explained adjustment. Adjustments first require AccessRide review in this demo; the requester must still approve the final quote.
- The requester approves or declines.
Approval fixes the quoted scope and price. This demo stops at quote approval. Actual booking needs the operational and payment setup to be completed.
Common provider questions
Do I manually type a price for every ride?
No. The agreed rate card calculates it. Review the options and distance, confirm capacity, and submit. Use an explained adjustment when the standard rates do not fit.
What if the return time or patient needs change?
Confirm the revised scope and submit a new quote for approval. Additional services should not become surprise charges.
Who pays AccessRide?
This demo deducts an illustrative 8% from the ride fare. Parking and tolls are excluded from that fee. The rate card lets you explore another percentage; final commercial terms still need agreement.
Does this contact a patient or book a real ride?
No. All requests, review actions, and approvals are simulated in your current browser session. Reloading or resetting starts over.
